Deepsky imaging in Seoul

Two days of favorable conditions in Seoul—no moon, no clouds, and no intrusive lights from the nearby balcony.

The mount and telescope system performed exceptionally well, with perfect guiding and minimal backlash. All the work I put into the mount has finally paid off. The result may not be stunning, but given the extreme light pollution in my area, it is good enough.

The star alignment process is effortless, thanks to the plate solver application integrated with the camera software. It drastically reduces the hassle of searching for my target object, eliminating the need to manually align the guiding telescope with the main telescope. As long as the mount is properly aligned, the plate solver takes care of the rest.
